TERRIFICON® 2027 features a dedicated Card Game Room running structured tournaments, casual pods, and open play across all three days. Whether you're a competitive grinder or just looking for a friendly game, there's a seat at the table for you.
All events are open to TERRIFICON® attendees with a valid show badge. Some tournaments require pre-registration or a separate entry fee — see individual event listings below.

Kick off the weekend with a Swiss-format booster draft using Modern Horizons 3 packs. 8-player pods, 3 rounds of Swiss, cut to Top 2 for prize packs. All skill levels welcome — drafting is one of the most fun ways to play Magic with strangers.
Drop into a casual Commander pod anytime during the window. 4-player pods, self-reported power level (1–10), matched by the event organizer. Bring your own deck. No entry fee — just show up and play.
Standard-format Swiss tournament, 4 rounds. Bring your own deck. Age divisions: Junior (born 2013+), Senior (born 2009–2012), Masters (born 2008 and earlier). Prizes for Top 4 in each division.
Advanced format, 60-card decks, 5 rounds of Swiss. Bring your own deck. Top 8 cut for prizes. Deck lists required at registration. All current ban list rules apply.
Casual constructed event for Disney Lorcana. Bring your own deck, any set. 3 rounds of Swiss, no cut. Great for newer players — this is a friendly, low-pressure event perfect for learning the game.

The flagship Magic event of the weekend. Pioneer-format constructed tournament, 8 rounds of Swiss with a Top 8 single-elimination playoff. Deck lists required. This is a competitive event — come prepared with a tuned 60-card Pioneer-legal deck.
Draft from a curated 540-card community cube featuring iconic cards across Magic's history. 8-player pods, 3 rounds of Swiss. The cube is provided — just show up and draft.
Booster draft using Scarlet & Violet packs. 8-player pods, 3 rounds. All packs provided. A great way to experience Pokémon TCG without needing a pre-built deck — just open packs and build on the fly.
Speed Duel format using official Speed Duel starter decks and skill cards. Decks available for purchase at the event table. 5 rounds of Swiss, Top 4 playoff. Beginner-friendly format — great for newer players.
Blitz format constructed event for Flesh and Blood TCG. Bring your own hero and deck (max 40 cards). 4 rounds of Swiss. Loaner decks available at the table for first-time players — just ask!
Final day — show opens at 10:00 AM · Card Game Room closes at 4:30 PM
Build a 40-card deck from 6 Bloomburrow booster packs, then battle through 4 rounds of Swiss. All packs provided. Sealed is a great equalizer — deck-building skill matters as much as play skill. Prizes for 3-1 and 4-0 records.
All players use unmodified Commander precon decks — no upgrades allowed. 4-player pods, 3 rounds. Precons available for purchase at the event table or bring your own. A level playing field for everyone.
Final Pokémon event of the weekend. Standard format, 4 rounds of Swiss. Bring your own deck. Top 4 prizes. A great send-off for the weekend — come play one more time before heading home.
Draft from a curated pool of classic Yu-Gi-Oh! cards spanning the original series through GX era. 8-player pods, 3 rounds. Pure nostalgia — Blue-Eyes, Dark Magician, and all the classics.
Close out the weekend in style. Open Commander pods, any power level, bring your best deck. Casual atmosphere, great trades, and a chance to meet fellow players one last time before the show ends.

The Card Game Room maintains dedicated open play tables throughout all three days. Bring your own decks and find opponents, or join a pickup game already in progress. Trading is welcome at all open play tables. Tables are first-come, first-served.
The following games have dedicated open play space and/or loaner decks available:
Dedicated space for buying, selling, and trading singles. Bring your binder! Vendor tables nearby for sealed product and singles purchases.
Brand new to trading card games? Volunteer judges run free 30-minute intro sessions for Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon TCG. Loaner decks provided. No experience needed.
A dedicated low-key area for younger players (ages 6–12). Simplified rules, loaner decks, and patient volunteers to help kids learn the basics of trading card games in a fun, pressure-free environment.
