TERRIFICON® — CT's Terrific Comic Con — is owned, produced, and organized by Mitch Hallock's Big Fedora Marketing, LLC. In 2012, Mr. Hallock combined his lifelong love of comics and his professional career as a Marketing and Creative Director to produce his version of the "Greatest Comic Show on Earth."
Over the past decade-plus, the exuberant responses from fans and the comic professionals and media guests who have attended have reaffirmed that he has indeed created the "TERRIFIC" comic con. TERRIFICON® is one of the last pure comic book–focused cons left in the USA, held annually at the world-class Mohegan Sun Expo Center in Uncasville, Connecticut.

As a Connecticut native, Mr. Hallock takes pride in the rich history the Nutmeg State has factored into the world of comics — from being the home of the first comic book ever printed in America, Funnies on Parade, to being home to so many great artists and writers over the years.

Beyond TERRIFICON®, Mitch appears weekly on the Chaz and AJ Morning Show in Connecticut, where he has been crowned "King of the Nerds."
He also produces CTGAMERCON — the annual video and tabletop gaming event at Mohegan Sun created in 2017.
Mitch co-hosts the Power Cosmic Podcast with legendary artist Jerry Ordway, reports on Indiana Jones for IndyCast and TheRaider.net since 2007, and reviews classic movies and TV with Ed Dolista on Mitch & Ed's Excellent Adventure.
When not planning TERRIFICON®, he can be found reading and talking comics at Cave Comics in Newtown, Connecticut.
